Friday Niight Meeting at Greyville Abandoned

KwaZulu-Natal has experienced unprecedented rainfall in recent days, with Hollywoodbets Greyville receiving over 100mm overnight, bringing the total rainfall for February to 301mm.

As of this morning, penetrometer readings in certain areas of the track were as high as 38.

Given the current overcast conditions, the likelihood of the track drying sufficiently for Friday night’s race meeting is minimal.

Consequently, Gold Circle has made an early decision to abandon the event.
