LaLiga 2025/26: Outright Assists Favourites

LaLiga’s most creative players are gearing up for the new season, and the 2025/26 assists race promises to be one of the most exciting in recent memory. Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal starts as the bookmakers’ front-runner after winning the award last season. Below are the favourites to provide the most assists in the upcoming LaLiga season.

Lamine Yamal (2.62)

The undisputed assist king of the 2024/25 season, with 13 in 35 LaLiga games, Yamal, is now entrusted with even more creative freedom under Hansi Flick. His creative passes and accurate deliveries have already defined big moments for Barcelona and Spain. His odds of 2.62 are justified as he’s expected to improve in both goals and assists this season.

Alex Baena (3.50)

Villarreal’s former orchestrator racked up 12 assists across the league and cups last season, making him the second‑highest in assists. Technically gifted and brilliant in the cut-back and through‑ball game, he’s now adapting to Atletico Madrid’s midfield, where he’ll have a lot of responsibility to be their creative spark.

Raphinha (9.00)

Scored 18 goals and paired that with 9 assists in 36 league games, an all-around output worthy of any elite team. With Robert Lewandowski ageing, Raphinha now has more licence to roam centrally for Barcelona. There’s a lot of value backing him at 9.00.

Vinicius Junior (11.00)

Don’t underestimate Real Madrid’s explosive winger. Though better known as a finisher, he delivered 8 assists across 35 games last season, ranking joint‑4th in La Liga. With a more attacking style expected under Xabi Alonso, he may have more opportunities to provide assists and score goals.

Trent Alexander‑Arnold (13.00)

Now plying his trade at Real Madrid after eight seasons at Liverpool, the Englishman racked up more Premier League assists than any defender from 2018-25. At Los Blancos, he will be used as a wing-back, which will see him higher up the pitch to deliver his pinpoint crosses.
