The handicapper hit him with a 9lb rise for that but he was not disgraced off his revised mark at Haydock recently and in this less competitive race he should have a say.

He is back into novice company here and with a handicap mark of 85 he would be very unfortunate to bump into something better than that.
The step up to 2000m is a bit of a question mark but the opposition does not look particularly strong.
