Trainers Alan Greeff and Dean Smith could have a Pick 6 banker apiece each for the Pick 6 at Fairview today as both Terminal Velocity in Race 3 and East Coast Girl in Race 5 should win their respective races on the Polytrack.
Terminal Velocity has been unlucky not to win a race in her 11 starts, having finished in the first three six times and fourth twice. The Global View filly was touched off over this course and distance in her penultimate start, and it could be third time lucky for jockey Richard Fourie. Terminal Velocity takes on a very weak field and should get the run of the race from draw No 2.
Smith sends out the Querari filly East Coast Girl in Race 5, a MR 72 Handicap for fillies and mares over 1600m, and the filly has won two of her three starts on the Polytrack. She was runner-up to the promising colt Royal Kingdom last time out and should go one better this time around.
Jockey Calvin Habib gets his first ride aboard her, but she is not a hard filly to ride and should beat her elders.
