Defending champions Banyana Banyana produced their most complete performance of the tournament, cruising into the Women’s AFCON quarter-finals with a commanding 4-0 victory over Mali in Oujda on Monday .

From the fifth minute, Banyana set the tone. Lebo Ramalepe opened the scoring with a precise finish inside the box, following a smart through-ball from Jermaine Seoposenwe. The team never let up, already showcasing their intent.
In the 32nd minute, captain Refiloe Jane doubled the lead with a brilliant free‑kick, curling the ball into the top corner, the lead-up driven by a successful foul won by Seoposenwe.
South Africa continued to dominate in the second half. In the 61st minute, Hildah Magaia extended the lead, converting a precise cut-back from Karabo Dhlamini. Then, in the 79th minute, substitute Ronnel Donnelly scored her first international goal, tapping in a cross from Nonhlanhla Mthandi to seal the emphatic win.
