Orlando Pirates 2-0 Polokwane City: The reigning champions kicked off their campaign in style. New signing Oswin Appollis put them ahead early (13′), before fan-favourite Patrick Maswanganyi added a penalty (35′) to secure their place in the final four. The victory gave Pirates the psychological edge they thrive on.
Sekhukhune United 3-2 TS Galaxy: At the Peter Mokaba Stadium, Sekhukhune staged a remarkable comeback. Galaxy looked comfortable after goals from Mpho Mvelase (14′) and Victor Letsoalo (41′). But on debut, Bradley Grobler turned the match on its head with goals at the 43rd and 64th minutes, and Vusumuzi Mncube (69′) completed the turnaround.

Stellenbosch 3–2 AmaZulu (AET): The Cape Town Stadium served up drama. AmaZulu’s early lead through Keegan Allan (18′) was cancelled by two from Sanele Barns (25′ & 69′). After Tebogo Mashigo levelled for AmaZulu (73′), the winner came via Langelihle Phili in the 108th minute.
Mamelodi Sundowns 4-0 Richards Bay: Sundowns powered into the semis with a statement. Iqraam Rayners added goals in the 10th and 54th minutes, an own goal from Richards Bay’s Simphiwe Mcineka, and a strike from substitute Siyabonga Mabena (76′) secured the emphatic result.
