This week, France Football published the full list of nominees for the 2025 Ballon d’Or and its prestigious associated awards. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the gala ceremony on 22 September in Paris:

Men’s & Women’s Ballon d’Or

Men’s: 30 nominees headline a stellar field featuring stars like Ousmane Dembele (PSG, the treble winner), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), and Napoli’s standout, Scott McTominay.

Coach of the Year (Johan Cruyff Trophy)

Men: Named candidates include Luis Enrique (PSG), Arne Slot (Liverpool), Antonio Conte (Tall order in Italy), Enzo Maresca (Chelsea).

Celebrates off-field impact and humanitarian work. The current holder, Jennifer Hermoso, was revealed as the 2024 recipient. Given alongside the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
