Senegal were crowned champions of the 2025 AFCON after a tense final in Rabat, beating hosts Morocco 1-0 in extra time thanks to a brilliant strike from Pape Gueye. With the tournament now concluded, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the full list of individual and team awards recognising the standout performers and teams from across the competition.

Best Player of the Tournament (Golden Ball)
Sadio Mané (Senegal): The Senegal talisman was outstanding throughout the competition, leading by example with goals and leadership that helped his country claim a second AFCON title. He earned CAF’s Golden Ball as the most valuable player of the tournament.
Top Scorer (Golden Boot)
Brahim Díaz (Morocco): Despite Morocco’s heartbreak in the final, Díaz finished as the tournament’s top scorer with five goals in seven matches, earning the Golden Boot. Even though he missed a decisive penalty in the final, his attacking impact was unmatched across the group and knockout stages.
Best Goalkeeper (Golden Glove)
Yassine Bounou (Morocco): Recognised as the tournament’s most outstanding goalkeeper, Bounou’s shot-stopping and leadership from the back were vital to Morocco’s run to the final.
