All-rounder Corbin Bosch stole the show, becoming just the fourth South African in history to score a century and claim a five-wicket haul in the same Test. Bosch smashed an undefeated century in the first innings to help SA post 418/9 declared, then grabbed 5/43 to spark Zimbabwe’s collapse during their second innings.
Wiaan Mulder
In South Africa’s second innings, Wiaan Mulder led from the front with a career-best 147, launching a commanding position and setting Zimbabwe a daunting target of 537. Coming in at number three, he showcased maturity and class, combining with Keshav Maharaj (who added a handy 51) in a match-defining partnership.
Lhuan‑dre Pretorius
The teenage debutant Lhuan-dre Pretorius turned heads on Day 1, scoring a blistering 153, making him the youngest South African to hit a century on debut. A 95-run stand with fellow rising star Dewald Brevis (51) rescued the early stumble and powered SA past 400.
Supporting Cast
Debutant seamer Codi Yusuf contributed a valuable 3/22, further dismantling Zimbabwe’s batting. Stand‑in captain Keshav Maharaj added 3/70 and provided leadership by example, keeping the opposition under control.
