South African cricket received a major boost this week as Quinton de Kock reversed his ODI retirement, returning to both the T20I and ODI squads for the Proteas’ upcoming tour of Pakistan. Cricket South Africa announced three squads, Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, with new captains in each format and a blend of experienced names and fresh faces. While injuries and workload management have shaped selections, De Kock’s comeback has stolen the spotlight as the Proteas look to strengthen their hand across all formats.
